It has been a ridiculous amount of time since I updated this blog. So much has happened! I'll try to hurry...

Here are Grant's 8 month photos, taken by Chris. He is little Mr. Independent at this point. Before I know it, he'll be explaining Algebra to me as I feebly attempt to help him with his homework.

We took these out at Jan and Skip's house. There were lots of cool things to explore there. And thanks to Skip for all of the festive decor.

Grant: Daddy's Boy

This kid looooves remotes. Either he is copying his parents (ahem, because we have a ridiculous amount of remotes in our house, RON) or he is a technological genius, and already know what they do and how they work. I'm going with scenario B.

Cathy: Weekend in Chicago

Over the summer I spent a few days with some girlfriends in Chicago. Holly just had a baby in December, Andie had a rough month at work, and Rachel works long hours all the time. It was just about us, and relaxing, and shopping, and eating, and, well, you get the picture. We had fun. Probably too much at times. It was beautiful weather as you can see from the pictures, though I don't have any group photos because I didn't trust anyone enough to hand over my camera. It was a great weekend, and I hope they all had as much fun as I did.

If not, that would make me really lame.

The train wasn't as frightening as I thought it was. Brought back this eerie comfort of my grandfather from Chicago actually.
